Happy New Year

This is not the traditional wish of a bright and prosperous New Year, not that I don't want that for you, but rather a suggestion of what the New Year should bring into your lives.

So many of us forward texts and emails of positive messages and very little of us implement these practices into everyday lives. Let's stop making promises to ourselves of what we are going to do differently or better or more of and just do it. Let's firstly love ourselves more, love ourselves unconditionally, just as we are, at this moment. Let's acknowledge God and the God in others and let's all be grateful.

Unconditional love has been something that I have been encouraging in everyone to strive for and also to give, but the suggestions are futile if we do not practice on ourselves. Guys - you are handsome, you may not be my cup of tea but you are someone's Kool Aid. Ladies, my sisters, each one of us has something unique and wonderful to offer in any relationship that we are involved, but we need to identify that specialty and not settle for less than WE deserve.

So as the sun sets and a new dawn arises, let's love ourselves more, let's appreciate ourselves more and let's stop settling for less than we deserve. Remember to give thanks for everything, even the hardships, they make us stronger.

If you can't be good, please be safe :)

Love is a choice, choose wisely.

Marriage is like a mental hospital, you are either committed or sane.

C u next year.

Be blessed.
